Amy,
What type of stones does Skippy have? Pure calcium carbonate or have
they contained oxalates as well?
Bottled Water Web used to offer free access to chemical analyses of
hundreds of brands of water; now they charge a $50 annual fee. With a
little sleuthing, you can probably dig out water analyses by going to
a bottler's website and requesting it.
There's info on the Penta water site http://www.pentawater.com/ that
claims Penta water helps dissolve stones. Of course that's in people,
and there's no evidence it works for piggies. I think one of our
former members (Naylene) tried it, and it didn't help - although her
piggie was forming stones at an incredible rate.
